July 17, 1968, the Socialist Arab Ba'ath Party overthrew the reactionary dictatorship of general Aref. 
The Ba'athist Revolution was going to bring to Iraq its national independence, with notably the control on nationalized oil. 

Ba'athism was going to also assure the modernization of the country, the teaching of literacy to the masses, the equality of women, the putting away of the islamist reaction and to put Iraq in the right fight against the Zionist colonialism and for the liberation of Palestine. 
The Ba'ath Party, in short, was going to achieve the Iraqi national unity and to found modern Iraqi patriotism around a secular and republican citizenship, unifying Sunnias, Shiias, Christians, Kurds and other minorities.

This is all what the Quisling pupets government installed by the Gauleiter Bremer, Yankee proconsul in Baghdad, is ready to sell to the western occupant. 

When the Nazi armies entered into Paris, the Regime of Pétain spoke of a “divine surprise”. The Iraqi Collaborators go even further in ignominy : they have just made the Yankee occupant entrance in Baghdad, a day of national celebration !!!

They affirm thus before History the illegitimacy of their puppets regime, that only rests on the strength of American bayonets. 

What other could one expect from this opportunist heap of traitors, Chalabi, swindler financed by the CIA, the Barzanis and Talabanis, Kurdish feudal clannish chiefs, puppets at the service of all imperialisms since four decades or again the Shiias mullahs at the orders of the Iranian reaction ?

But in the clandestinity, the Iraqi ba'athist Resistance, that claims itself of Saddam HUSSEIN, the only legitimate Iraqi president, fights alone for the national liberation and the unity of the Iraqi people. 

One must not be taken by the black propaganda of Gauleiter Bremer indeed, false diplomat and true specialist in “counter terrorism”. The imaginary claimings of resistance acts in the name of Al-Qaida (sic) or of Shiias ghost little groups (resic) - whereas the Shiias mullahs control the “temporary” government installed by Bremer, whom they are the best allies of – aim only to prevent the Iraqi people to regroup behind the Ba'athist leadership.  

 

In this 35rd anniversary of the Revolution of July 17, 1968, which is a day of fight for our  ba'athist comrades, the PCN-NCP greets the courage and the sacrifice of the partisans of Saddam HUSSEIN !
